The research team and the Korean Society for the Sociology of Sport jointly organised an online research symposium on 22nd July 2022. The research team presented three key findings of the project in three consecutive sessions each of which was followed by discussions with expert panels and relevant organisations, including Korea Sport and Olympic Committee, National Human Rights Commission of Korea, Seoul Regional Office of Education, Korean Institute of Sports Science, International Sport Strategy Foundation, Human Rights Violation Prevention Research Institute, etc. A total of 90 people joined the symposium, including coaches, athletes, parents, researchers and Mr Seung Min Ryu, a member of the IOC (Advisory Committee on Human Rights).
