{"id":2,"date":"2023-03-17T16:29:10","date_gmt":"2023-03-17T16:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/safesport.lboro.ac.uk\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2024-12-05T22:53:42","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T22:53:42","slug":"welcome","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/safesport.lboro.ac.uk\/ko\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Hindrances to cultivating a safer sporting environment\u2019 is a one-year research project, funded by the Olympic Studies Centre of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as part of its Advanced Olympic Research Grant Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project investigates safeguarding policies and practices in South Korea\u2019s elite sport development system. More particularly, it focuses on three main institutional, social and cultural obstacles to developing a safer sporting environment, such as crisis-driven policy development, slippages between the central and the frontline, East Asian role-bearing relational hierarchy, perverse effects of the safeguarding measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is led by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dr Minhyeok Tak<\/strong><br><em>Senior Lecturer in Sport Management at Loughborough University<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr Yoon Jin Kim<\/strong><br><em>Assistant Professor in Sport Pedagogy at the University of Birmingham<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prof Daniel Rhind<\/strong><br><em>Professor of Sport Psychology at Loughborough University<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018Hindrances to cultivating a safer sporting environment\u2019 is a one-year research project, funded by the Olympic Studies Centre of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as part of its Advanced Olympic Research Grant Programme.
